I attended the indoor groundbreaking ceremony June 1 for National American University’s new Sioux Falls campus at 5801 S Corporate Place. This new building with expanded square footage allows them to expand into new programs such as the BS in Nursing. While NAU has already been a member of the Sioux Falls community since 1974, Dave Rozenboom, current chair and Cathy Clark, past chair, as well as many Chamber members, welcomed their new campus with great enthusiasm. I’m sure NAU and the Buckingham family were very encouraged with the turnout which also included Lt. Gov. Daugaard and City Councilman Greg Jamison. A special thanks to all the Chamber members who show up continually to celebrate growth in Sioux Falls. There are many reasons why Sioux Falls is considered by Forbes the “best small metro city for business and careers” and you are all certainly part of that.
